Arvind Ven

How did your path lead to wealth management?

I have always enjoyed finance and knew I wanted to make a positive impact in people’s lives in any career that I chose. With my MBA in finance, years of experience as a corporate officer in large companies and a 401k fiduciary, it was a natural progression to become an independent financial advisor.

How are you different from other firms?

As independent advisors, we have no sales quotas, nor are we beholden to any product, tactic or firm. We have a client first philosophy, aided by independent research and analysis and by the teams supporting us. The power of affiliation with LPL Financial, one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the nation, combined with the value of our independent advice helps us serve our clients better.

What are some interesting facts we should know about you?

I enjoy hiking and have hiked in the Himalayas twice as well as many of our nation’s great national parks. During one summer several years ago, I stayed with a host family in Japan and enrolled in an intensive Japanese language immersion program. Travel and learning about countries and cultures is one of my passions and I have traveled to over 35 countries on four continents.

Anything else you would like to add?

I live in the Bay Area with my wife and two children. While I love the Bay Area, as a long time resident, I have been increasingly concerned about the income disparity and high cost of living. I have served on several local committees focused on making a positive impact in the communities that we are part of.
